The North Downs, Air Rifle, and Air Pistol, Shooting Club.

The Club meets every other Sunday Morning 9am. to 1pm. when there are no events in the afternoon and 9am. to 12 noon if there are other events booked for the afternoon.

Just turn up and ask for the Secretary of the Club, Mr. Roger Lock who will sign you up as a Member or Visitor.

The Club is looking for new Members.

Shooting Facilities.

25 Knock Down Targets set out at different distances in a Woodland setting.

Members set off in pairs to Score for each other taking turns to shoot.

Scoring is one point for a hit and three points for a knock down.

Telescopic sights are recommended if only to see the target in a natural environment.

Children must be supervised by an adult or parent if posible.

When you get to Hanging Wood Farm Entrance - continue up the lane - past the right hand bend in the road - to the next lay-by on the right hand side of the road. This is the entrance into Hanging Wood Shooting Ground.

If you are happy taking your car into the plantation - take the left hand fire brake to the shelter used by the Club.

If you are not happy taking your car into the plantation - continue up the lane to the next lay-by on the left hand side of the road. From this position you can park and look into the plantation and see the shelter used by the Club - walk back to the entrance of the Shooting Ground and walk up the left hand fire brake to the shelter.

The Air Rifle Range is roped off in front of the Shelter, (see photo above).

Warning keep to the Fire Breakss and roped off areas at all times. Do not explore the woodland during a shoot.
